everyone's really busy at work lately. but if anything's worth taking 5 minutes to take a look for, it's these amazing new shoes from Nike. well, not exactly new. they were first seen in the sequel of "back to the future" back in 1985. these shoes went into production earlier this year and was kept as a secret until today. Nike calls them the Air MAG (I'll forever call them Nike air McFly's).
Nike will be auctioning off 150 pairs everyday for the next 10 days on nikemag.ebay.com. The launch is well tied to the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Proceeds from the sale of the MAG go directly towards Mr. Fox’s Parkinson’s research foundation. great shoes for a good cause...but there goes my chance of owning a pair. haha.
oh by the way, what you see here is really what you get. The MAG is illuminated by pinching the “ear’ of the high top. The feature itself makes it the first rechargeable footwear from Nike. Each shoe holds a five hour charge.
