Today was hot, I guess that means summer hasn't forgotten about LA. weather is so odd this year, last week I still had to wear a jacket at evenings...I'm talking about around 60F (15-16C) kinda temperature. Today we hit triple digits, yeah..38C is hot. dry heat doesn't feel as awful as the humid Taipei but still.
we went to our first wine tasting at Bevmo today. I'm not a wine buff at all. never liked drinking and rarely drink at all. but that doesn't mean I don't like or respect the wine culture. Bevmo's tasting was perfect for a newbie like me. they give you a bit of info about each bottle you taste, and there's no pressure to even finish a drink if you don't feel like it. the whole flight was just 2 bucks. my favorite was Cave's white wine, light and fruity. haha, this drink won't earn me any street cred at all.
