to a shoe geek like myself, Mark Parker is a big name. His current title is CEO for a tiny tiny sporting goods company called "Nike." he's responsible for some of the most interesting and creative projects in Nike's huge archive.
whitewall magazine did an interview with him recently and took tons of photos of his office. these pics give you an idea of just what sort of crazy Nike memorabilia and history is housed at the Nike headquarters. his office is jam packed with a frenzied collection of art and shoes that manifests all of the various influences and iterations of the Nike lineage. Unreleased samples, one off promo materials, and classic models are found in the various nooks of the room alongside sculptures and scraps of the Nike story.
This gallery of photos really shows how much the business heads at Nike stay grounded in the company’s roots of innovative design.
